For the past two months writer Anna Maria Murphy and the Kneehigh Rambles team have taken ‘the roads less travelled’. They have walked from Helston to St Keverne, explored Helston Museum and Kestle Barton and held workshops with Park View, WILD and the Museum Mini Movers. To mark the end of Kneehigh’s time in Helston, they will be in residence at CAST over the weekend.

On Saturday 21 March, there will be workshops for adults and children, 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm where you can work with Kneehigh artists to create banners and animations based on local stories.

On Sunday 22 March, join Anna Maria Murphy at CAST at 4pm for tea, cakes and tales gathered, and wildly exaggerated, from the Helston area (approximately one hour, but stay to chat afterwards).

The Rambles Programme is supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, West Cornwall Youth Trust, The Joyce Carr Doughty Charitable Trust, FEAST and Rob & Jane Hartley, alongside donations made by members of the Kneehigh Family and bookers for Asylum seasons. CAST’s public programme for 2015/16 is supported by Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts, using funds from the National Lottery.
