Hannah Lawrence leads a workshop at which participants will each make their own plate, bowl and cup. The vessels will then be glazed and fired ready for use in a festive supper at CAST Café.
Hannah is a pinch potter and has been making and selling her work for the last eight years. She has worked and studied in Australia, the UK and Japan and now owns and runs a small craft business in Falmouth called Folklore.
Vessels will be hand built using techniques suitable for a range of skill levels, from beginners to curious experts, and each participant will be guided through the process of making vessels which they can then take home and keep. The workshop will also be an opportunity for working conversations in a warm and welcoming space.
The pottery workshop has a choice of two three-hour sessions. The supper is on Saturday 5 December, starting at 7pm. The fee of £30 includes this supper and the cost of glazing and firing vessels to take home.
To book email [email protected] specifying which of the sessions you would like to join.
