On the first day of the CAST-Off trail of activities Sarah Johnson will be brewing indigo dye in Ben’s Den, the encampment hosted by painter Ben Sandersonnear the Lowertown stepping stones, Imogen Bone will inspire postcard painting sessions outside CAST, and Dominica Williamson will lead an afternoon of botanical drawing in the old walled garden near the Stables Café at Penrose.

There’s more to come every Tuesday and Saturday, including sessions on pigment making, clay modelling, kite making, boat building, labyrinth plotting, granite bashing, and just listening quietly to the sounds around.
