Music, procession and fire.

For the CAST-Away finale, gather near the church in St Keverne village square to make sound sticks with shells and bells for a musical procession down the valley to the beach at Porthoustock. On the beach, make and play with clay and come together for the Snail’s Creep dance. Help build a bonfire on the beach. We’ll be firing pottery made at CAST-Off and CAST-Away sessions. We’re bringing our special treat buns, but be sure to bring a picnic or something to cook over the fire and plenty to drink, or buy something hot or cold at the beach.

All the activities are free and offered on a drop-in basis, no booking required. Donations welcome.

We won’t be put off by a bit of drizzle and hope you won’t either, but check on the day in case of extreme weather or last-minute changes.
