Join CAST, Clay Trap, The Seaweed Institute, CAST Café and a range of artisan makers for our first Christmas Market. There will be stalls throughout the building, with an abundance of ceramics on offer, as well as gourmet provisions from CAST Café and Pica Rico, fine baskets from Lin Lovekin, beautiful print from Lou Tonkin, wreaths and ‘everlasting flowers’ from Pemboa and a range of artist-made items including tea towels from The Artist Tea Towel Company, calendars and gift tags.

Other local makers taking part include Wild Edges Tallow with their range of skin care, Creative Roots with a colourful array of naturally dyed wool socks, balms and inks, and Leach apprentice potter Callum Cowie. Helston-based potter Richard Launder will also be selling British, European and Japanese pieces from his extensive collection of ceramics.

Studio artists Lucy Willow, Charlie Duck and The Seaweed Institute will all have artworks on sale. CAST team members Lucy Grant and Amy Webb will be selling creative kits to gift or enjoy at home. Sarah Fassnidge, Vicky Wiltshire and Clay Trap members have produced a wide range of ceramics for the market including candle holders, plant pots, cups and beakers, tableware and decorations.

CAST Café will be offering mince pies and mulled cider throughout the day, and there will be a bumper offer of their artisan breads alongside other gourmet provisions. Bookings for breakfast or lunch service are highly recommended.

The Museum of Cornish Life’s Christmas Craft Fayre will be taking place on the same day, and we recommend The Bookshop in Helston, Pica Rico and the Emporium for more early Christmas shopping nearby.
