CAST is thrilled to announce the generous support of the Garcia Family Foundation for an ambitious programme of creative learning for primary schools, in addition to our popular family ‘Think and Make’ sessions.

The Cornwall Workshop 2019 | Open Call

The fifth edition of the Cornwall Workshop will be led by British artist Andy Holden.

CAST is delighted to have been awarded a grant from Arts Council England’s Small Capital scheme to renovate the building.

Artist Simon Bayliss is leading a Landscape Painters Anonymous field trip to Trencrom Hill from St Ives.

A new Cornwall-based artists’ moving image Critical Forum will be launched on Monday 13 February 6 – 9pm.

In December CAST invited former pupils and teachers to celebrate the conclusion of Green School Revisited.

OPEN SCHOOL EAST | ARTIST RESEARCH RESIDENCY

A group of Associate artists from Open School East in London came to Helston in October to undertake a residency. 

RUTH EWAN | RESIDENTIAL WORKSHOP AT KESTLE BARTON

In October artist Ruth Ewan led a workshop for artists and curators, discussing ideas for field trips.

GROUNDWORK AT CORNWALL COLLEGE | PROGRAMME LAUNCH

CAST has made a commitment to work with Cornwall College as part of the Groundwork project.

THE ART WRITING PROGRAMME | WEST CORNWALL RESIDENCY

CAST is working with the Art Writers Group to support a writer’s residency in West Cornwall.
