Stone carving, felt pouch making and wild pigment painting.
Join the CAST team in the walled garden where stonemason Stephane Rouget will be demonstrating stone carving. You can have a go at making a pouch using felt and discover the many different ways to make pigments and paint with a range of natural materials.
There’s more to come every Saturday, including brush making, serpentine polishing, and cyanotype photography.
All the activities are free and offered on a drop-in basis, no booking required. Donations welcome.
We won’t be put off by a bit of drizzle and hope you won’t either, but check on the day in case of extreme weather or last-minute changes.
This summer, for the first time, CAST is also taking its programme of creative adventures out to the Lizard peninsula. These take place each Wednesday from 3 to 24 August. For more information click here.
CAST-Off and CAST-Away are made possible by the generous support of The National Lottery Community Fund, FEAST, the Garcia Family Foundation and Helston Town Council.
