William Arnold returns to CAST to lead free half-term workshops in pinhole photography for participants of all ages. No previous experience is required. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, minimum age 10.
Participants will learn how to make and use a pinhole camera and print an image in a darkroom. Bring your own container to make into a pinhole camera – sweet tins or biscuit tins are ideal – or some vessels will be available on the day.
William Arnold is an artist with a particular interest in historical and alternative photographic processes, especially pinhole photography. William’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
Booking is essential. Contact William Arnold by email: [email protected]. The workshops are free and materials are provided, but donations towards costs will be greatly appreciated.
CAST’s public programme for 2015/16 is supported by Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts, using funds from the National Lottery.
The pinhole photography workshop is supported by Little Parc Owles Trust.
