Join us for a special Open Studios event as part of CAST’s Golden October weekend, celebrating the renewal of our historic building.
CAST studio artists will open their doors between 10am and 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, providing an opportunity to meet the artists, learn more about their work, and see works in progress.
The participating artists are:
Nicola Bealing, Imogen Bone (Sunday only), Bronwen Buckeridge, Charlie Duck (Sunday only), Sarah Fassnidge, Mollie Goldstrom, Mark Hedger, Sarah Johnson, Bridie Maddocks, Juliette Paull, Aaron Peters, Emily Roberts, Kirsten Shanks, Mark Surridge, Shelly Tregoning, Lucy Willow, The Seaweed Institute and Clay Trap ceramic studio.
CAST Café will be open on both days.
This activity is part of Golden October, a weekend of creativity celebrating the renewal of CAST’s roofs. This significant programme of work, along with many of CAST’s learning activities during 2023 and 2024, has been made possible by funding by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Some renovations will continue through the winter months, but, at this important milestone, we want to invite the whole community to celebrate and enjoy the fruits of the investment in this special heritage building – a place for art, culture and learning that is open to all.
