Led by artist Abigail Reynolds, for whom reading and language are key concerns, this study session will bring the practice of close reading – more often applied to literary texts – to an examination of Charlotte Prodger’s film BRIDGIT.

The session will encourage observation of the way in which Charlotte Prodger positions herself within the work, while remaining unseen, and of Prodger’s approach to the subject of identity – her own and those of others who have shaped her understanding and experience of what it is to be queer in a rural environment.

Participants should allow time to see BRIDGIT before the session.

With regret this session has been cancelled.
