CAST’s Saturday art sessions for eleven- to sixteen-year-olds are structured around engagement with a wide range of artists, many of whom have studios at or close links with CAST.

Led by artist and learning specialist Kate Turner, Saturday Art Club members meet in a studio at CAST each week to work with artists, learn new skills, develop a wide range of projects, and explore their creativity.

All sessions are free with materials provided.

Due to growing demand for membership of our Art Club for eleven- to sixteen-year-olds, we will run two parallel groups from this October. Both will meet on Saturdays, and there are a few spaces available for the new afternoon sessions running from 2pm to 4.30pm. If you know a young person who would enjoy the opportunity to learn from professional artists, try out a range of different mediums and techniques, and grow their social confidence in a creative setting, contact [email protected]

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
