Clay is a popular choice for Think and Makes, particularly since 2021 when funding from the Community Led Local Development programme enabled CAST to create a dedicated ceramics studio, Clay Trap.
The Clay Trap team have facilitated a number of Think and Make sessions, providing expert technical support and materials. Favourite activities over the years have included creating ‘kiln creatures’, ‘spring things’, ‘portrait pots’ and tiny Neolithic vessels.
