In October 2023, CAST ran Water and Stone – a series of walks, talks, and workshops celebrating and exploring Helston’s built heritage. As part of this weekend of activities, members of the Saturday Club met local stonemason Stephane Rouget and were able to have a go at carving some local granite. They also carved their own pieces from wax to take home.
