CAST’s public programme includes screenings, talks, concerts, readings, workshops and informal residencies, serving an area of Cornwall that previously had little access to innovative contemporary arts activity. The programme attracts support from local and national funding bodies and many events and activities are free. The public programme for the financial year 2015/2016 was supported by a grant from Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts scheme. CAST’s public programme has also received contributions from Helston Town Council, Little Parc Owles Trust and Chelsea Arts Club Trust. The Ambition for Excellence funding provided by Arts Council England for Groundwork 2016-18 includes provision for continuing learning and public programme activity in 2019, enhancing the legacy of the project.
