To mark the end of her month-long residency, Lissette Jiménez Díaz will host an open studio, offering visitors an opportunity to see works in progress made during her time at CAST.
SUMMER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
This summer we are offering creative activities both in the CAST building and out of doors. The CAST-Off programme will return to the Walled Garden at National Trust Penrose and we have also planned three days of Lightbox activities in the black box and learning spaces at CAST.

MAKE A BOAT THAT FLOATS
Use driftwood, feathers, twigs and leaves to make a boat that floats at CAST, then make the short walk down to the Cober River with your friends and family to make it sail.

David Lynch’s 1977 dystopian debut Eraserhead tells the story of a young factory worker who discovers unexpectedly that he is to become a father.
Easter Nests
Join Lucy Grant and the CAST learning team to make a safe nest for your Easter eggs from wild materials. This free drop-in workshop is suitable for families and open to anyone of any age who would like to join in.
Cara Mamma
Screening Postponed. Cara Mamma (24 mins) draws on a series of candid personal letters exchanged between Daniela and her adult child Naissa over a three-year period, combining these with dream-like allegorical sequences and cinema verité.

Liubov Sliusareva’s 25-minute documentary The Hooligan Project follows Ukrainian theatre group Hooligan Art Community as they work with young artists in Cornwall following their displacement to the UK by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Saturday Art Club
CAST’s Saturday art sessions for eleven- to sixteen-year-olds are structured around engagement with a wide range of artists, many of whom have studios at or close links with CAST.
