Launching on Tuesday 4 August, CAST’s programme of creative activities for families will take place outdoors this summer.

Race boats on the Cober River, learn how to make calzone on a camp fire and visit Cober Camp

Make wildwood crowns, Hal-an-Tow sticks, tiny bricks and botanical drawings at different locations on the CAST-Off trail.

Make a stone maze, create your own woodland fairy tale or paint on a rock.

Draw a picture journey, paint a landscape postcard or visit Ben’s Den.

Discover how to see with your ears or collect natural materials for boat building.

Make paints and inks using natural materials or make a flag at Ben’s Den.

This will be a bonanza CAST-Off Round-Off and the weather forecast is good.

Cast metal, shape stone, felt wool and learn to see with your ears! 

CAST’s popular off-site programme of outdoor creative activities for children and families returns

AFTERNOON ONLY due to rain and wind. Make and race boats, mould clay, weave willow and create tiny houses.
